At 9:52, we had a learner that posted this:
I have a meeting at 10:00, so I'll leave the workshop now. Thank you for your time and for organizing it. Unfortunately, it feels a bit outside the scope of what I use Bianca for, so I might not come back today.. Have a nice day, everyone!
This makes me wonder: why do we as teachers have picked the topics, when we could have known what the learners want to learn. We could choose to only teach what the learners want to learn. I guess this may be Diana's idea; she calls this course a hackathon.
- [ ] Suggest: let learners pick from things we may teach, as well as other things they may want to learn, then only teach that.
I liked how Pavlin made a connection to the prior knowledge of the learners. It looked very cozy!
It was great to see that all learners in Björn's session were able to install an R package. I quote a learners here, who said it went 'Surprisingly smooth'. It was awesome to see that Björn successfully monitored the progress of all the learners.
